THE ARM-Standard Specifications*

Working Depth:
THE ARM is completely pressure compensated. For depths greater than 1800 metres (6000 feet), special procedures to de-gas and pre-charge the compensation system should be followed.

Lifting Capacity:
29.5 Kg (65 lbs.) at rated speed
45.4 Kg (100 lbs.) Maximum

Gripping Force:
149.7 Kg (330 lbs.) Maximum - maximum force is limited in three operator switch selectable ranges which are electronically adjustable. Once the fingers make contact with an object, the squeeze force is proportional with the trigger squeeze up to the preset limit for each range.

Master Control Force Feedback:
2.3 Kg (5 lbs.) at rated load - Ratio is set at 13:1, Enhanced Force Feedback with ratios approaching 1:1 as an option.

Manipulator Reach:
1.7 metres (5.5 feet) from azimuth axis to end of fingers.
